Gervin GV9 White Wine yeast is a German strain of yeast which will ferment at temperatures as low as 10 degrees C and which has two particular characteristics.

The first is that it produces quality white German style wines with an excellent bouquet and which mature quickly and the second is that it can metabolise up to 35% of any malic acid present in the must. This second characteristic makes it very useful when the fruit base of wine may be overly acidic and so it is an excellent choice when making apple, gooseberry or rhubarb wines.

This sachet is sufficient for 40 pints (23 Litres). Simply sprinkle the contents of the sachet onto the surface of the prepared wine 'must' at room temperature, there is no need to stir.
